Hello!!! I’m baaaccck. We had a lovely trip…no skiing..but still fun.
To my advantage, all the health food stores, including Wholefoods, are on the way to the lake….therefore, we always stop.
I got a few new things….like this coconut water. IT WAS THE BEST COCONUT WATER I’ve ever had.
soooo sweet and amazing.
Props to Taste Nirvana!
That wasn’t the only thing I had new to try….
sheep-milk yogurt?
WHY NOT!?!?!
let me just say. this was AMAZING> i love this yogurt. I would defiantly get it again. Smooth, creamy, and the texture of silk. wowza. The flavor was spot on too! There was even little black specs from ACCTUAL vanilla beans!
mmmm. I want it agian…too bad it’s 70 miles away.
something to look forward to!!!!!
and more interesting things…
ELK Steak???
WHY NOT?!?!!?!?
my aunt made elk steak shish-kabobs…complete with pineapple, peppers, and onion!! it was DA BOMB. i would eat me some elk any day. it was delish. a very lean, game meat.
moral of this post WHY NOT try new things. Every new thing I tried this weekend..i would eat again. OHH! i also made over night oats..THEY WERE AMAZING. and i bought some expensive amazing coconut butter to top it with. i’m hooked on those over nighters now!
they’re great!!!!
PEACE.

You are right! Why not try various things and add variety to our eating or to our life actually?
I thought I was the only sheep and goat milk lover out there that was under the age of 70 haha!! Glad to know Im not the only one. Its weird… I just love that sheepy and goaty flava….
i know what ya mean!!! i love it too!!! and that unique flavor is what i like!
my mom thinks it’s gross….whatever..it’s delish!!!
Love trying new things! A few weeks ago I cooked a beef heart…yummo. And also some beef liver pate. My daughter lives in Montana and when she was pregnant a couple years ago and her iron was low her Dr. told her to go buy some elk or moose at the grocers! That is SO not available here in Michigan!
I just got a lamb… I wonder if I could ever milk her!? I don’t eat milk/yogurt anyway but my family would. Yay for trying new things! You’re braver than me.
it’s possible that you could milk her..however, i’m sure she would have to be bred first, in order for her to have milk. but i’m not sure, that would be awesome though!!!
You are absolutely right!!! Trying new things is AMAZING!
Mmm, I’d love to try Elk! I love trying new things–within reason
Glad you enjoyed overnight oats! They are one of my favorite breakfasts….how did you make yours! And I totally love trying new things too! There are so many amazing foods out there!
just with plain goat milk/ goat yogurt, oats, bananana, cinnamon, and flax..nothing tooo exciting..but amazing!!!
Sheep milk?! I’ve never even seen that before! I guess it’s make sense though since there’s goat milk. Pretty cool!
I spent the weekend at the lake too! We didn’t get to do much skiing/wake boarding either cuz it was so darn windy until today, at least it kept things from getting too hot. What lake do you go to?
I totally agree about trying new things! I mean if you don’t like it you don’t have to have it again, might as well try it and see since chances are good you’ll love it. I couldn’t agree more!
Gotta love Whole Foods and other healthy food stores! I could stay in them for hours just browsing the lovely items they have to offer!
I love coconut water and Taste Nirvana is my favorite! I’ve tried lots of other brands but their coconut water is, hands down, the best!
Have a great day!
Trying new things is so, so, SO important. I would never have discovered some of my favourite foods had I not been a little gutsy way back when, haha.
P.S. You are an inspiration, so I’m going to add you to my new blogroll, if you don’t mind, of course.
Haha I’m impressed with your ability to just jump in and try new foods! I’d probably be skeptical of goats milk yogurt… but I’m glad you liked it!
AHH I’ve had sheep yogurt and it is AMAZING! like, unreal! and I ate soo much organic freerange elk when I was in Colorado, I couldn’t believe just how much I loved it! (and how much I’m missing it nowadays:)
